apt's training data base can be used to maintain training records for all students. When a course is taken and the associated testing is successfully completed, the course, test score, and date are automatically entered in the database. The same type of data may be manually entered by an instructor for any other training - lecture based, off-site seminars, etc. - taken by any staff member, even if they are not currently active. There are no limits to the number of records in the database.

Composite training reports for a group of students may be viewed and printed by supervisors depending on the supervisor's administrative permissions. Students have access to Certificates, Training per Student by Date, and Training Required by Student reports solely for their own training records. They cannot view any other students' records, nor can they modify their own. Please review our privacy and security policy.

The on-line database will be maintained for each account while active, and up to one year after the last date of activity for inactive accounts. Customers may request a hard copy of their training records when closing an account.

Monitoring Student Performance:

A variety of information is available to help supervisors monitor student performance. Up-to-the-minute training reports are available on-line by way of a flexible user interface providing simple point-and-click customization options to select the WHO, WHAT, and WHEN parameters for the inclusion of training records. Reports are provided in a number of detailed and summary formats to facilitate a focus on different aspects of training supervision. For instance, one report highlights students that have not meet supervisor defined training goals. Another report provides an overview of student activity including aptitude, a unique performance index designed to rapidly identify struggling students.

aptitude is based on a calculated number representing training efficiency and comprehension by combining factors of credits earned, time connected, successful and unsuccessful test attempts, and recorded scores. The resulting number is then normalized to average performance. In other words, an average student should produce an aptitude of 1. The detailed records of Students with aptitudes significantly less than 1 should be reviewed carefully to determine if intervention and assistance is indicated.
